TVW Facility Tour and Presentation (3/7/07)

Tour and Presentation on the new TVW facility, Jeanette C. Hayner Media Center on 1058 Capitol Way South, Olympia.

TVW went on the air (well actually over the cable) in April 1995 with a death penalty case before the State Supreme Court. It is a private nonprofit that covers the State Legislature, Supreme Court, executive branch, agency boards and commissions, and other public policy events of statewide significance. TVW is a cable-only network available in 98+% of Washington cable households, or about 55% of the state population. A March 2006 statewide survey revealed 22% of registered voters had watched TVW in the last two weeks.
